Went out for a hike with Alison up Mount Douglas, about 15 minutes north-east of downtown Victoria. It was a very pleasant and short hike with about a 200m rise. It wasn’t raining but there was a lot of moisture in the air and was falling through the tree canopy. It was about an hour and a half both ways.
The highlight was finding a rough-skinned newt on the path while heading back to the car. We carefully handled him and put him out of harms way and back into the bush.
